5 August 2025 — The Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT), supported by ADB and coordinated by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Indonesia, successfully held the Workshop on the Familiarisation of IMT-GT Economic Corridors in Jakarta.
The session deepened understanding of Indonesia’s role within IMT-GT and explored key topics such as Special Economic Zones (SEZs), corridor-based development, and cross-border collaboration. It also laid the groundwork for subnational alignment under the Chief Ministers’ and Governors’ Forum (CMGF), reinforcing efforts toward inclusive and locally driven regional integration.
